He shoots from the hip and he’s hip when he shoots. Kid Creole delivers a funky, urban-inspired message in a unique way that only August Darnell can. His wit, cynicism, and humor overcome traditional stereotypes and barriers of pop music. In 2020 KCC celebrated 40 years in the business and released a special 40th anniversary edition of their first studio album, ‘Off the Coast of Me’. In 2021 they released ‘Nothin’ Left but the Rest’ album.

Schott Treatment
Schott Treatment pushes the boundaries of what pop music can be. Peter Schott and August Darnell have created a unique homage to the great soundtracks of the 50’s and 60’s. So far the band has released, ‘Being’ and ‘Pardon My Appearance’ with the sultry dulcet tones of jazz singer Jo Harrop, a Nothern songbird from the UK, and ‘Something Incomplete’ featuring a poignant vocal performance by Daniel Sitrit from Denmark. Schott Treatment’s debut album is due to be released in 2022.

Jodie Ann is a 17 year old singer/songwriter from Lancashire in the UK. She has been singing from the age of 2, and writing her own songs since she was 13. But how we did we find her?
Jodie Ann's grandmother worked at the Winter Garden in Blackpool during the Oh! What a Night Days in 1997 (a 70's musical starring Kid Creole). August and Jean became friends because the Kid visited the box office almost daily asking for discounted tickets for his friends, family and fans! Cheeky sod! Fast forward 20 years later, and that very same Jean reached out to tell Kid about her extraordinarily talented granddaughter. August was presented with a couple of Jodie Ann's songs by her number one fan, her mum Catherine, and he was instantly blown away! And when the 2C2C team heard those songs, they all agreed that this 16 year old would become a superstar with a little bit of luck and a whole lot of love. And just like that, Jodie Ann became the youngest artist signed to 2C2C.
'Happier Free' was released on October 22nd. Her brand new single, ‘Habits’ is out now.
Miss Garbo
Miss Garbo is a singer/songwriter band from South London. Their sound is elegant, sometimes with mournful beats and an 80s, almost chillout vibe... until they rock. The band consists of Louise O’Hara on lead vocals and Andy Chapman on guitar.
Their debut single ‘forgotten’ was released on November 20th. Their follow up single ‘Every Other Week’ is out now.
MISS GARBO INSTAGRAM
Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band, a modern-day-bad-ass-swing-influenced group. Even though the band is best known for its number-one hit CHERCHEZ LA FEMME, let’s not forget some of their other gems: SUNSHOWER, HARD TIMES and I’LL PLAY THE FOOL. They released three albums between 1976 and 1979. First came the self-titled album, followed by ‘MEETS KING PƎNƎTT’, with the third album being ‘James Monroe H.S. presents Dr. Buzzard’s Original Savannah Band Goes to Washington’. They quickly became pioneers of a fusion genre that included a multi-cultural blend of rhythms and rhymes. We’re talking about big-band swing, calypso, rhumba, cha-cha-chá, mambo, country-western, pop, jazz, punk, funk and junk! Browder and Darnell wrote songs that celebrated the universal flaws and glories of the human condition. Cory Daye delivered the goods to the market place. Mickey and Mundi added extra spice to the mix, and made the magic even more palatable.
Meet HANFORD from Memphis, Tennessee. Kristina Hanford was discovered by August Darnell, when he held auditions in NYC for his musical, Cherchez La Femme. Kristina impressed the team with her exceptional singing and performing abilities and she was signed up immediately to be one of THE LEMON DROPS (a trio modelled on the Coconuts) for the limited run at the La Mama Theatre in downtown NY back in 2016. Following on from this experience, Kristina has been touring with Kid Creole and the Coconuts as a real life Coconut!
Need we add that she is also very pleasant on the eyes?
Hanford comes from a true theatrical family, with her parents and 2 brothers in this crazy corridor we call Show Biz! Another star destined for greatness.
Fast forward to 2021 when 2C2C was searching for the right vocalist to sing a powerful ballad written by Peter Schott. We knew straight away that Hanford would be the singer for this!

Haitia
Kid Creole kidnapped Stephanie Fuller a.k.a. Haitia Fuller from her life as a studio singer. She was doing backups for groups like The Rolling Stones at night and by day, singing solo on commercials for Coca Cola.
After many sessions in the studio with August, he and writer Ronnie Rogers produced her hit song ‘Take Me for a Night in New York’ from the Elbow Bones and the Racketeers project.
‘When the Pavement Ends’ is out on March 15th.
