The 5 members of the Savannah Band were all film buffs. True cinephiles. One of their favorite actresses was Marilyn Monroe. And one of their favorite films was The Seven Year Itch. Stony Browder Jr. loved that movie so much, he decided to write a song with the same title.

The song turned out to be a fitting tribute to the old Hollywood and to Manhattan Madness in the late 70's. 

Released now as a single, 45 years after it was written, it still rings true musically, lyrically and cinematically!
